This combination of bracket and stand is more secure and safe than almost all of the bassoon stands available today.  We demonstrate by "slapping" the bassoon in the stand so that one of the floor stand legs comes off the floor.  Usually, prospective customers lunge forward to save the bassoon, then find out they didn't have to!
