This ingenious metal hook device replaces the seat strap
and provides a more comfortable, balanced playing position, with little
or no weight on the left hand. This reduces muscle fatigue of the
upper body as well as reducing tension in the left hand. |

Easy to attach and remove using a "quick-thread" screw
which inserts into the neck strap ring. Comes with its own sturdy
chrome, folding floor stand.
The LegHook is designed to blend into the background, with felt
lining to protect the finish of the instrument.

To choose size: stand boot joint of bassoon on
table. Measure distance from table to the center of the neck strap
ring on the boot joint. If distance is 16" or less (most
Heckel, Selmer, and Puchner), order the Regular size. If the
distance is 16" or greater, order the Fox size.
Winc Research will modify the LegHook to fit any bassoon, for a nominal
charge.
